Dubai, UAE – 02 June 2026: As geopolitical and economic volatility intensifies across the Middle East, global management consultancy Kearney has launched a dedicated regional unit of Kearney Foresight, its strategic intelligence division, to support governments and businesses navigating an increasingly complex landscape.

Based in the region, the new Middle East and Africa (MEA) Foresight unit brings together a dedicated team focused on shocks analysis, scenario planning, international affairs, and economic intelligence tailored to regional dynamics. The move reflects growing demand for forward-looking, locally grounded insights as organizations shift from reactive responses to proactive planning in the face of increased disruption.

The launch is accompanied by the unit’s first report, “Beyond the storm: toward a stronger post-crisis Middle East,” which assesses the economic and systemic implications of the current crisis. The report finds that GCC economies are entering this period from a position of relative strength, supported by robust sovereign capital buffers, policy flexibility, and continued infrastructure investment across key sectors such as energy, logistics, and aviation.

It also identifies the new operating environment as a potential inflection point for critical assets decentralization, corridor optionality, and repricing of capital and partnerships in light of emerging priorities across the region. For governments and business leaders, the report identifies four strategic priorities that will shape competitiveness in the period ahead.

The MEA Foresight unit will support public- and private-sector clients through a combination of scenario modeling, strategic advisory, international affairs expertise, and economic analysis. It includes the National Transformations Institute, Kearney’s regional Center of Excellence created a decade ago to support the strategic agenda of GCC governments.
